What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
At its core, non-surgical rhinoplasty is a technique that employs injectable dermal fillers to alter and enhance the shape of your nose. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, which involves surgery and a significant recovery period, this non-invasive method allows us to make noticeable improvements in just 15 to 30 minutes. By carefully injecting filler into targeted areas of the nose, such as the bridge or tip, we can create the illusion of a smaller, more proportionately shaped nose. You may also hear this procedure referred to as a liquid rhinoplasty or non-surgical nose job.

If you are concerned about nose asymmetry or profile issues, this treatment may be a good option for you. By injecting an HA dermal filler, we can subtly reshape the nose, addressing a myriad of concerns such as: bumps on the bridge, help make the nose less hooked, lift a downward-pointing nose tip, fill in depressions and help the nose appear straighter. Additionally, we are able to heighten the bridge and alter the width of the nose, depending on your area of concerns.
Many of my patients are drawn to non-surgical rhinoplasty for its transformational benefits, its quick procedure time and lack of significant downtime. Plus, since the nose doesn’t experience as much movement as other facial areas like the lips, the results from nose filler tend to last longer than other dermal filler treatment areas—usually between 10 to 14 months. This longevity, combined with the still temporary nature of the treatment, allows for adjustments over time as your aesthetic preferences evolve. Liquid rhinoplasty allows us to address specific concerns with your nose’s shape and size more subtly than might be possible with surgery. How does a Liquid Rhinoplasty Work?
When you choose me as your cosmetic injection provider for non-surgical rhinoplasty, we will start with a comprehensive consultation to understand your aesthetic goals and determine if you are the right candidate for this treatment option. I believe in offering my honest, professional opinion and will not proceed with the injections if I do not believe it will provide you with the results that you desire.
During your built-in consultation, we will discuss your concerns, goals and review any questions you may have. Once a treatment plan is decided upon, I’ll explain each step in detail and provide an estimate on the amount of product required and budget. For liquid rhinoplasties, I typically opt for Revanesse® Shape™ as it is the line’s highest viscosity hyaluronic acid (HA) gel.
The actual injections portion of your appointment is quite quick. I will carefully inject the filler into specific areas of your nose, depending on your aesthetic goals, and sculpt the desired shape. I will periodically massage the filler into place throughout the procedure to help the product settle into the desired shape. The entire injection process typically takes less than 15 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes for numbing beforehand if required.
