Where does Dr. Iverson offer services?
Dr. Iverson offers cosmetic injections at Elegance Sculpting in Parksville; Xpose Salon in Nanaimo; and Self Love in Langley.
Are consultations free?
Consultations do not need to be booked separately prior to treatment; however, they do cost $100. If you decide to proceed with your treatment during that visit, this $100 fee will be credited towards the cost of your treatment. This means you are essentially getting the consultation for free if you decide to have the treatment during the consultation visit.
Injections are individualized. What works for one person may not work for another. You are never pressured to continue with a treatment if you are not comfortable for any reason.
What is the difference between botox and filler?
Botox is a neuromodulator or “natural purified protein” that works to relax muscles that cause wrinkles from facial expressions. Although we use the term “botox” there are actually four types of neuromodulators (Dysport is Dr. Iverson’s personal favourite).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Filler is hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in our skin, and is injected under our skin to lift and restore volume in the face.

What are your most popular services?
Dr. Iverson’s most popular services are botox (Dysport® & Nuceiva®) and dermal fillers (Revanesse®) injections for the lips, cheeks, jawlines and chins.
How do I book?
Select the location is best for you and you’ll be prompted to choose your service. The system will automatically find the next available appointment for your treatment. If you aren’t finding anything in the next month to two months, fill out the contact form below and Dr. Iverson will do her best to fit you in sooner.
Why is botox not botox?
The industry uses the term “botox” in conversation about all neuromodulators. It’s the oldest used term and it allows for an easy discussion.
But, “botox” came from the brand Botox Cosmetic. There are actually four different brands on the market today:

Although Dr. Iverson uses all four brands, she prefers Dysport© because patients results are seen sooner and last longer. Each individual will gravitate and find one works better for their concerns than others so it’s always a good idea to speak to your doctor about what they are using.
