Dermal Filler

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a natural skin component that decreases as we age. It’s important because it retains water and gives our skin a healthy glow. Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid and can be used in different areas for lifting, shaping, hydrating and softening of lines. Common treatments include: lateral and medial cheek lifts, lip enhancements, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, jaw & chin reshaping, temple fills, stubborn frown lines and upper lip lines.

A cross-link of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, Revanesse® restores volume loss to give skin a more youthful appearance.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a sugar naturally produced by your body, is a water-binding molecule with the ability to hold 1000 times its weight in water. When we age, the skin’s HA levels decrease causing volume loss and fine lines and wrinkles.

Treatments are safe, quick and effective with results lasting between 6 and 18 months. To learn more about the treatment, contact Dr. Iverson today.

What is the most important thing to do post fillers?

Dr. Iverson’s number one tip for after receiving filler is drink water!

Hydration is extremely important for healthy skin and as we age we lose hyaluronic acid which causes skin quality to become more dry and less supple. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like substance that holds approximately 2000x its weight in water—the more hydrated you are, the better the results!
