VAMP™ is an acronym for Vitamins, Amino Acids, Minerals, and PDRN. It’s not a traditional dermal filler and doesn’t add volume. Instead, VAMP™ is a patented solution that is administered via small microchannels (I use the SylfirmX RF microneedling device) for biostimulatory regeneration, rejuvenating the skin from within with collagen production.

You may not be a candidate for Sylfirm X RF microneedling with VAMP™ if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding 
• Have active dermatologic conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, severe acne, or herpes
• Have a bleeding or clotting disorder, or are taking blood-thinning medications
• Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Have recently used isotretinoin (Accutane) due to increased scarring risk
• Have uncontrolled chronic medical conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes
• Have implanted electronic medical devices, including pacemakers

On the day of your treatment, it’s best to arrive with a clean face and plan for a quiet evening. Expect the treatment to be an hour and half to allow for numbing prior. Most of my patients describe the treatment as a warm, prickling sensation from the Sylfirm X RF microneedling as the device delivers controlled radiofrequency energy through ultra-fine needles. The VAMP™ solution is applied into the freshly created microchannels to enhance regeneration and healing. One patient described the feeling post-treatment as the same feeling as fresh botox kicking in (your skin may feel a bit tight). Afterward, you can expect:

• mild redness (like a sunburn)
• light swelling
• dryness or flaking over 2–4 days

For at least 48 hours, it is recommended to avoid skincare or makeup containing active ingredients such as retinol, exfoliating acids, or vitamin C, and skip excessive heat, intense workouts, and direct sun exposure. While recovery varies from person to person, I strongly recommend following your aftercare instructions closely. I learned the hard way and experienced a skin reaction when I didn’t. You’ll receive detailed, personalized aftercare guidance during your appointment to support a smooth recovery and the best possible results. After receiving VAMP™ paired with SylfirmX RF microneedling, you may notice early improvements in hydration and glow within the first week. Progressive changes in texture, elasticity, and overall radiance will occur over the next four to six weeks as collagen remodeling continues. For best results, most patients choose a series of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by maintenance every six to 12 months, depending on age and lifestyle.
